OneVision drives singular vision on Print Automation and AI

Fresh on the back of its appearance at FESPA Global in Barcelona earlier this year, OneVision Software AG, an international manufacturer of automation software headquartered in Regensburg, Germany, is locked in to showcase its latest breakthroughs in wide format printing at Visual Impact Sydney 2026 (2nd to 4th September, Sydney Olympic Park).

Bringing Version 26.2 of its software, OneVision claims to have further expanded intelligent print automation with new AI capabilities, enhanced Variable Data Printing (VDP) functionality and improved production transparency. This latest release introduces brand new AI modules for bleed generation, image upscaling, and background removal, as well as numerous enhancements across Workspace, Normalize, and Amendo AI, all to increase efficiency, flexibility, and output quality.

As Artificial intelligence increasingly becomes an integral part of modern print production, OneVision claims that its new AI Services will enable users to seamlessly integrate GPU accelerated AI into existing workflows without manual prompting or complex setup. AI-powered processes run automatically in the background while local deployment keeps sensitive production data within the customer’s own infrastructure. These services include:

• AI Bleed, automatically generating realistic bleed for print-ready images;
• AI Upscale Pro, enhancing image resolution by reconstructing image content, enabling high-quality enlargements for professional printing;
• AI Extract, automatically removing image backgrounds with high precision, even for complex objects and fine structures.
• AI Queries, helping users analyse workflow and production data faster and automatically identifying bottlenecks, recurring issues, or production trends;
• AI Billboard Validation, enabling quality checks of installed out-of-home advertising using a simple photo; and
• AI Image Processing to replace manual Photoshop work when optimising images for print-ready results.

The focus for OneVision’s appearance at Visual Impact is to demonstrate how these deep-learning applications integrate into production lines, and the company invites attendees to come and discuss their individual workflow challenges and explore how Automation Software and AI Integration can improve their production efficiency.
