HEXIS hosts PPF World Series Grand Final in France
After months of qualifying rounds, 36 contestants from 13 different countries – including three wrap-experts from Australia – will face off at HEXIS headquarters in Frontignan, France, in the first ever PPF World Series Grand Final.
Being held on 23rd and 24th September, the event will be live screened through the HEXIS Graphics YouTube channel – allowing friends, family and colleagues of our competing Aussie triumvirate – Bo Grace (KB Wraps, Griffith), Matthew Jordan (Platinum Wraps Mackay) and Mia Saker (Blurred, Melbourne) – to enjoy the tension and excitement first-hand.
Ian Parsonson, Managing Director of HEXIS Australia, says: “The qualifying rounds that Bo, Matt and Mia won through were pretty intense affairs themselves and I have no doubt that we’re now sending the best talent Australia has to offer over and we obviously hope that one or all of them snag one of the competition cash prizes.”
Whilst acknowledging the extraordinary skill of our home-grown wrap-artists, Parsonson also points out that the HEXIS BodyFence PPF films and the newly launched CandyFence colour options are very versatile and easy to work with compared to some competitive products on the market.
Nonetheless bubbling, creasing and running short over curves, are all real-world challenges for vehicle wrappers, so a panel of expert judges has been recruited to assess ‘the skill and technical performance’ of all 36 contestants, judging them on precision, material handling skills, time-management and quality of finish and ‘their ability to apply a clear film to a car’s bodywork without a single bubble, crease or ridge, following every curve of the vehicle’.

In creating the PPF World Series, we wanted to give these professionals a stage worthy of their skill. Bringing together thirty-six finalists from thirteen countries to Frontignan, where our films are made, is a real source of pride for me and for our company.”
