Epson launches new EcoTank Pro printer with heat-free technology

Epson Australia has launched a new EcoTank Pro ET-5800 to add to its EcoTank range, available in three categories – EcoTank, EcoTank Pro and EcoTank Photo. The new EcoTank Pro ET-5800 is an A4 wireless all-in-one printer which offers fast, cartridge-free printing with enough ink to print up to 4,500 pages black and 2,800 pages in colour - and easy-to-fill ink tanks providing low cost printing. All EcoTank printers are powered by Epson’s patented PrecisionCore Heat-Free Technology.

The ET-5800 delivers fast print times of 25 black and white pages and 12 colour pages per minute with no warmup time for fast first page out and due to its use of Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, boasts ultra-low power consumption. It uses Epson DURABrite pigment ink and delivers professional-quality output and vibrant borderless prints. It also includes a 500-sheet paper capacity, rear specialty-paper feed, plus a large 4.3-inch colour touchscreen for easy navigation.

The new ET-5800 and indeed the entire EcoTank Pro Series offer savings up to 80 percent with low-cost replacement ink bottles versus standard capacity colour laser toner cartridges2 and leverages Epson PrecisionCore Heat-Free Technology to deliver fast, consistent and heavy-duty performance.
