Kirbyco launches first green, recyclable, self-adhesive film

Kirbyco has launched the first green, recyclable, self-adhesive film as part of its ZERO portfolio of PVC-Free media for wide format printing.

ZERO Eco Print Green is green. It has a unique green tinted, solvent- free adhesive that provides immediate visual identification that the film is eco-friendly and can be fully recycled.

It comes with an optically clear, synthetic liner. The green adhesive is visible from the time the box is opened and throughout the print and application process. Customers can also see it. When a print campaign is over, there is no guessing which products can go to recycling.

ZERO Eco Print Green is designed for you if you are looking for point of sale, events, real estate, and other promotional advertising campaigns.

Used ZERO products are sent to local manufacturer Future Post, where they are recycled into fence posts.  Kirbyco also offers a take back program for all its media waste which assures customers that the products will be disposed of correctly. Unlike PVC, which can only be sent to languish in landfill.

Future Post posts are an eco-friendly alternative to traditional timbers posts. They do not leach out CCAS or other harmful ingredients, and they can be recycled at the end of life. This creates an ongoing, sustainable, zero waste solution for print.

Both the media’s top sheet and liner can be recycled, ensuring the only thing an advertising campaign will leave behind is a good impression.
