Wednesday, June 18, 2025 FUJIFILM wins three EDP Awards, including for AQUAFUZE water-based ink FUJIFILM Business Innovation has won three EDP Awards 2025. The Awards are organised by the European Digital Press (EDP) Association. The three products and technologies that won the EDP Awards are water-based UV ink technology AQUAFUZE, a commercial printer the Revoria Press SC285S, and the printbar FUJIFILM DE1024 Printbar. The EDP Awards recognise innovative products and technologies in the digital printing industry. They are judged by a panel of experts from leading European printing magazines. There are 25 awards, and FUJIFILM Business Innovation won awards in three categories. The categories that were awarded are: Inks & Substrates, Best Water-Based Inks Award: AQUAFUZE AQUAFUZE is a water-based UV-ink technology featured in the 1.6 m-wide Acuity Triton, which was launched at FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 in Germany. This water-based UV-ink technology combines many advantages of water-based and UV inks, delivering new value in wide-format inkjet printing. It provides safe, odourless ink with high durability during printing, and offers excellent rub resistance and compatibility with a variety of print substrates. Commercial Printing, Best Cutsheet Printer (up to B3 < 250,000 A4/month) Award: Revoria Press SC285S The printer is a mid-range toner-based press in FUJIFILM Business Innovation’s Revoria Press series. It is suitable for commercial applications and offers industry-leading print quality, versatility, and productivity. The product has a specialty toner station and CMYK, enabling five-colour printing in one pass. Finishing & Embellishment, Best Digital Embellishment Packaging Award: FUJIFILM DE1024 Digital Embellishment Printbar The FUJIFILM DE1024 Printbar System is designed to seamlessly integrate into existing label presses and other narrow-web machines to add spot varnish flair without additional press. The FUJIFILM DE1024 features the robust StarFire SG1024 printhead, combining high-jet and reliable, robust performance. It is available in a variety of widths, and single or dual printbar configurations for a range of varnish thicknesses, providing gloss or a tactile, raised effect.
