Currie Group Adds Colorado XL-Series to ANZ Lineup After Back-to-Back Distributor Recognition
Currie Group has been named Canon Production Printing APAC’s top Colorado distributor for the second year running, with large format print placements across Australia and New Zealand ranking the company ahead of all European distributors in the category globally.
The result positions Currie Group as a challenger for the number one Canon Colorado distributor spot worldwide — a significant outcome for an ANZ-based large format print business competing against larger European markets.
Off the back of that performance, Currie Group will now distribute the Canon Colorado XL-series across Australia and New Zealand, expanding access to Canon’s UVgel wide format printing platform for ANZ print businesses.
The Canon Colorado XL-series is a 3.4-metre wide format printer built on Canon’s UVgel technology. It handles both flexible and rigid substrate printing on a single machine, producing matte, gloss, or combined finishes in a single pass. Output is instantly dry. The modular system is designed to allow large format print businesses to expand production capacity without replacing the base unit — making it a scalable wide format solution for sign and display applications.
