Jim Penman, Founder of the Jim’s franchise (and in the early stages of launching Jim’s Signs) was interviewed on Sunrise on Thursday morning, protesting against Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews over the ’no cleaners, no mowing lawns’ law.

“I would defy the Premier to name one person in Australia, New Zealand or anywhere in the world who has caused or caught an infection while working alone in someone’s garden. We totally support the wearing of masks and other measures to control this infection,” he said in the interview.

Jim has received overwhelming support in recent days and is continuing to operate, offering to pay the fines of any of his franchise workers caught disregarding the law.

Plans to launch Jim’s Signs & Uniforms with Major Media Signage were disrupted due to COVID-19 restrictions earlier this year.
