All their fabrics are certified and traceable. Co founder and designer Joshual Scacherie said “Brands like ours need to create ethical clothing, so consumers become aware that it’s possible, on demand. Selling made-to-order lifestyle apparel is very likely the way of the future.” He presented his vision of a more sustainable fashion model when he was a contestant on Amazon Prime’s Making the Cut. You can see his winner design from the series via Amazon Fashion. Love Hero turned to Kornit Digital’s on-demand production capabilities to support their natural elements inspired vision. Kornit supports the basic philosophy of working in biodegradable fabrics with an eco conscious production process coupled with waste free sales modelling to their buyers. Scacherie went on to say, “Producing on demand takes a lot of the risk out of what will or won’t sell, brands like ours need to create ethical clothing, so consumers become aware that it’s possible, on demand. Selling made-to-order lifestyle apparel is very likely the way of the future. We intend to use Kornit’s technology exclusively.” It is about empowering people. His company is engaged with Kornit on the mechanics of imprinting silk, biodegradable nylon, and other diverse materials. Kornit Digital’s Head of Retail Transformation, Scott Walton, supports Love Hero’s focus to educate their consumers on compatibility with custom design, “They demonstrate the possibilities for luxury, high street fashion on demand, and empowering designers to see their sketches digitised, printed, and shipped from an efficient microfactory production site. We, in turn, educate the designers, and we’re creating a proximity production ecosystem through KornitX so they can find a Kornit-enabled print shop nearby to create samples of their designs, and have their collections fulfilled within two weeks.” Walton continues, “Kornit is committed to being the operating system for sustainable fashion on demand. Designers with vision like Joshua who test the design and colour capabilities that we have to offer, and growing our network, they believe they are now changing the public perception of what digital can do, that is: meeting the global sustainability imperative without compromise.” Previous Article HP Gives Users Power to Meet Tighter Deadlines Next Article JCDecaux expands its Digital Large Format Network Across Australia Print Rate this article: No rating
