Published on: Wednesday, November 24, 2021 More European events delayed due to COVID Fogra's Colour Management Symposium (CMS) scheduled for March next year will be delayed by four months. Due to the unclear development of the Corona pandemic, Fogra had to take this decision after a detailed risk assessment. "The decision was made in close dialogue with our sponsors, exhibitors and speakers," says Dr Andreas Kraushaar, Head of Prepress Technology and organiser of the CMS. "The CMS attracts numerous participants from Europe, America and Asia. Our ambition is to host a successful CMS, which is all about international exchange of experience and networking. Unfortunately, the unclear COVID-19 developments in various countries continue to restrict traveling. Furthermore, the rules and regulations around the pandemic are highly dynamic and locally regulated, making it even more difficult to organise such an event. Nevertheless, we expect the infection situation to ease to a stable low level for July, as in previous years. Fogra is now doing its utmost to make the symposium in summer 2022 the event we all want it to be". CMS2022 is in Munich from 6 July to 7 July 2022. Fogra also offers participation via live stream. At CMS2022, the focus will be on the successful communication and reproduction of colour in a modern workflow and on the industry's future prospects, such as textile printing. In addition, we expect renowned speakers – users only – and thought-provoking panel discussions. During the social event, keynote speaker Dimitris Mylonas from Northeastern University UK will show how the context influences colour naming. As usual, there will be numerous products and innovations to be seen in the exhibition. Fogra Colour Management Symposium is simply about everything that is currently moving the industry. CMS provides state of the art, only with Fogra 100% vendor-neutral and without any advertising. CMS2022 is already almost fully booked in terms of exhibitor places. Tickets already purchased remain valid. Previous Article AFI Branding Hits a Sustainability Milestone Next Article HP Inc.
