Highlights from Day 1 at PacPrint/Visual Impact

Day one of PacPrint was opened yesterday, by Josh Burns MP , the Federal Member for McNamara cutting the ribbon.

“The printing industry has played a huge role in my life. My father has worked in the industry for over 30 years and my sister works in packaging and I spent my summers on the factory floor buggering up many orders in the digital and screen printing business and working in despatch putting bits of plastic in large prints and it was a wonderful experience,” said Burns.

“What I learned very quickly was the precision of the work that is involved. The precision of connecting design to the factory floor and making everything look marvelous. Australia is really very proud of our industry and the know-how and the skills that are involved in it, concluded Burns.

Pac Print is open until Friday. Highlights of day one include:

A tour of the Amari stand with Daniel Yeoman highlighted the HP Latex 700, running with 3M PVC free film.
