Julie Rochester joins Women in Print Webinar

Women in Print Australia announces their next webinar titled, ‘Insights & Interactions: Conversations with Entrepreneurs’ set to take place on Monday June 17, 2024. The session will feature three accomplished women entrepreneurs who will share their unique perspectives on owning and running a business. The webinar will be moderated by Stephanie Gaddin, Chair of Women in Print Australia, and Editor of Digital Image Magazine.

The webinar will kick off at 2:00 pm AEST, and run for an hour, The webinar will start with a brief panel discussion, followed by intimate breakout sessions. The association says the webinar will offer attendees a valuable opportunity to gain insights from seasoned professionals and engage in meaningful conversations.

“The ‘Insights & Interactions’ webinar is a fantastic opportunity for our community to gain valuable knowledge from three remarkable women who have excelled in their respective fields,” says Gaddin. “We are looking forward to fostering meaningful conversations and connections among our attendees.”

Panelists include Julie Rochester, Former Managing Director, Sign Concepts SA. Rochester is a veteran of the Australian sign and graphics industry with over 35 years of experience. She has led Sign Concepts in Adelaide and served as the president of the Australian Sign & Graphics Association. Julie’s expertise spans from gilding and subcontracting to managing large-scale sign projects. Rochester and will speak on planning and executing a successful business exit after her experiences in selling Sign Concepts SA.

Sheree Rubinstein, CEO & Founder, One Roof, is an Australian entrepreneur and mentor, dedicated to empowering women in business. As the founder and CEO of One Roof, a leading membership network for female leaders and entrepreneurs, Rubinstein has transformed her career from corporate law to championing women-led businesses. Her accolades include being named one of the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence and a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards. Rubinstein will discuss gender biases in funding for women-owned businesses.

The final panelist is Kirsten Taylor, Creative Director and Co-Owner of Taylor’d Press , a multi-award-winning family printing business in Melbourne. Specialising in offset spot colour printing and letterpress, Taylor’d Press has garnered numerous accolades, including multiple National Print Awards. She will share her insights on managing and growing a family business.
