Agfa wins triple accolade for Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS at EDP Awards

Agfa has won a trio of EDP (European Digital Press Association) Product Awards for its new hybrid printer, the Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS. The printer won in the engine, automation, and ink categories, which Agfa says underlines its game-changing potential in high-volume wide-format inkjet printing.

The Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS can reach production speeds of up to 1,280 sqm/h, has 12 rows of print heads, and has robust engineering for 24/7 multi-shift operation. This results in high-quality printing across a wide range of media, from signage to cardboard and specialty substrates.

“Winning in three distinct categories is a powerful validation of our commitment to innovation,” says Arnaud Calleja, Vice-President Digital Printing Solutions at Agfa. “It perfectly reflects the strength of our teams, the forward-looking nature of our technology, and our ambition to lead the industry into a smarter, more sustainable future”.

The hybrid design, four or 7-colour configurations (including varnish), and extended vacuum with automated feed guides make it the ideal printer for businesses seeking peak productivity and high image quality.
Agfa was awarded in the automation category for the MAX Bots robots on the Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS. This robotic loading and unloading system reduces manual handling while maximising throughput. Combined with the Flex RTR system, the MAX Bots let print service providers switch seamlessly between rigid and roll media, empowering them to run complex, mixed-media jobs with minimal intervention and maximum cost-efficiency.

The machine combines with the Tauro 30 ink set, designed for high performance on corrugated cardboard and rigid sign materials. It offers consistent jetting reliability, even at higher head gaps, and provides bending resistance up to 180 degrees without cracking. The inks also help reduce costs through low consumption rates, while maintaining a wide colour gamut.

“The combination of speed, precision, and automation in the Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS raises the bar for industrial inkjet printing”, says Dieter Jancart, Segment Manager High-End Printing Systems at Agfa. “With its advanced robotics, it helps customers handle demanding production schedules while reducing manual labour and error rates. This printer isn’t just keeping up with market demands - it’s setting new standards for what print service providers can achieve in terms of quality, efficiency, and versatility”.
