FastSewn launches new Laser Cutting Solution

Dutch company, FASTSEWN has announced a successful debut at the 2025 Wide Format Summit Printing United Alliance, of its FASTSEWN Sewing and Laser Cutting Solution, earning it the “Company to watch out for” award.

The patented technology allows for the automation of lockstitch sewing of almost any 2D pattern, followed by laser cutting to the final shape.

The new FastSewn flatbed system integrates CNC sewing and laser cutting into a 1.2 m x 1.2 m platform, automating one of the last manual stages in textile production.
Feeding directly from two rolls, the system sews and then cuts to shape, removing the need for material transfers and delivering time savings of 40% or more compared with traditional processes.

Key features include automated SEG keder sewing, high-speed stitching of up to 3,000 stitches per minute, and improved laser cutting with reduced debris. Designed for ease of use with a touchscreen interface, the same staff running printers and cutters can operate the solution, helping businesses overcome skilled labour shortages in textile finishing.

FASTSEWN will showcase this unique solution at Printing United in Orlando from October 21-24, 2025, and Advanced Textiles EXPO (ATA) in Indianapolis from November 5-7, 2025.
