Digidelta, manufacturers of the BIOND range of 85% bio-based self-adhesive films for digital printing, have announced the showcase of the films at PRINTING United, from 22 to 24 October at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

When the range was unveiled at the 2025 FESPA Global Print Expo in May, BIOND generated significant interest. In response to this early demand, Digidelta launched the range globally, including a distribution deal with local Australian vendor Coritex.

“There is no doubt in our mind the BIOND will revolutionise sustainability in digital printing,” says Armando Mota, CEO of Digidelta. “The response we have had since unveiling the product at FESPA 2025 has been extremely positive, and we are excited to be launching BIOND to the global market.

“We would encourage anyone wanting to view these solutions up close and to discover their potential to visit us at PRINTING United this October.”

Designed with the environment in mind, the film is a new bio-based technology and is manufactured from vegetable-based products, enabling printers to enhance their environmental credentials significantly.

This approach to sustainable, planet-friendly production is supported by the options of water-based or solvent-free UV adhesives. Both technologies have far less impact on the planet than standard adhesives, enhancing the environmental benefits of working with BIOND materials.

While environmentally focused in nature, BIOND products behave and perform like traditional PVC films. To ensure these high environmental standards are met, BIOND materials are produced in-house. Digidelta operates out of a dedicated factory facility in Portugal, using processes that are 85% solar-powered, keeping the production footprint as low as possible. In addition, manufacturing is overseen by an expert team to ensure a high level of quality control and production efficiency.

The BIOND collection currently comprises three core ranges: Printing Films, Décor Films and Protection Films, all of which are available to purchase worldwide. Each product range offers the same environmental credentials but has been developed as a specialist solution for different applications.

Printing Films are ideally suited to eye-catching applications such as vehicle wrapping or outdoor installations across various surfaces. Décor Films offer unprecedented creative possibilities for interior transformation for architectural uses. At the same time, Protection Films are engineered to provide superior defence against wear and environmental factors, maintaining perfect clarity while delivering certified slip resistance.

Digidelta has set up a sustainability calculator for full transparency, allowing customers to see how much of an impact switching to BIOND could have on their business. Users can input the amount of PVC vinyl they purchase and calculate the carbon dioxide saved by moving to bio-based BIOND materials.

BIOND is available in ANZ through www.coritex.com.au
