Mimaki’s UCJV330 series and LUS-170 inks join 3M MCS Warranty Program

Mimaki Australia has announced that its large-format UCJV330 series, together with LUS-170 UV-curable ink, has been approved for the 3M MCS Warranty Program.

The 3M MCS Warranty Program provides non-prorated coverage for the intended lifetime of the graphic. It protects against fading, cracking, peeling, blistering, discolouration and other performance issues, giving print service providers and their customers greater confidence and peace of mind.

The announcement coincides with the upcoming Mimaki and 3M Open Days, taking place in Sydney on 19 February and Melbourne on 26 February. With the company saying the events provide an important opportunity for customers involved in signage, graphics and vehicle wraps to see first-hand how the UCJV330 series and LUS-170 inks perform within the 3M MCS Warranty framework.

Mimaki’s flagship LED-UV printer, the UCJV330 series, combined with LUS-170 ink, enables immediate lamination and installation. The ink’s high flexibility and excellent conformability make it ideally suited to demanding applications such as vehicle wraps and complex signage.

Kohei Kobayashi, Managing Director at Mimaki Australia, comments, “With this certification, Mimaki can offer customers not only high productivity and application performance, but also long-term durability backed by the 3M MCS Warranty.”

Mimaki says the certification further strengthens the collaboration between Mimaki and 3M, delivering greater confidence, reliability and value for print businesses. Customers affiliated with signage and vehicle wrap production are strongly encouraged to attend the Open Days to witness this important development in person.
