Kornit Digital acquires PrintFactory

Kornit Digital has announced the acquisition of PrintFactory, a Netherlands-based provider of cloud-based workflow, colour management, and production automation software.

The company said the acquisition strengthens its platform strategy by integrating PrintFactory’s capabilities to better connect demand generation, production workflow and fulfilment into a single digital ecosystem.
Kornit noted that the global screen-printing market remains heavily reliant on analogue processes, despite growing demand for digital production. It says that by incorporating PrintFactory’s workflow and colour management technology, it aims to simplify the transition to digital manufacturing and expand its reach into this segment.

PrintFactory’s platform enables unified workflow management and consistent output across mixed-technology environments, supporting predictable production results across devices and locations. The technology is currently deployed across thousands of production sites worldwide and supports more than 3,500 models of printing and cutting equipment.
Kornit said the addition will help customers improve efficiency, reduce media and ink waste, and achieve greater consistency across distributed production environments, particularly for large-scale and global operations.

The acquisition also brings an installed base of more than 10,000 active users, along with established industry expertise in workflow automation and colour management. Kornit said this will support its shift towards a more solution-based approach to customer engagement across the production value chain.
“This acquisition is about more than workflow or colour management,” said Ronen Samuel, CEO of Kornit Digital. “It is about building the digital infrastructure the fashion industry needs to move from analogue production to agile, on-demand manufacturing.”

Erik Strik, CEO of PrintFactory, added that joining Kornit will accelerate development and expand the value delivered to customers globally.
The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026. PrintFactory will continue to operate from its Netherlands headquarters and maintain its open, technology-agnostic platform. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the deal is not expected to have a material impact on Kornit’s near-term revenue or earnings.
