Published on: Friday, April 24, 2020 ASGA provides Government guidelines on JobKeeper and superannuation ASGA has provided a document outlining the latest Government guidance on JobKeeper and superannuation legislation to its members. The document stipulates that, while the Government has not amended the superannuation legislation to clarify what superannuation contributions will be payable when employees are eligible for the JobKeeper scheme, it has issued guidance on how it will be treated when legislation is passed. The document goes on to outline various scenarios to help ASGA members understand more about superannuation contributions in relation to JobKeeper payments, and confirms that superannuation is only paid on wages for work performed and not purely JobKeeper payments alone.
