CMYKhub has announced the purchase of multiple Canon Colorado M Series printers from Currie Group. Whilst the exact number is yet to be confirmed CMYKhub plans to replace all of their 1.6m wide format printers in all of their production facilities nationally.

The printers will be top of the line M5W roll to roll model with UVgel 'worry free white' which is up to three times faster than comparable technologies even for multilayer modes and uses 40% less ink. The printers will also have FLX finish which is the ability to print matte, gloss or mixed matte and gloss in one one pass without varnish, and the recently-released FLXture which gives the ability to add subtle surface detail to prints as options.

Alan Nankervis, National Wide-Format Manager for CMYKhub says “We already have two of these machines and are very happy with their performance in a high volume production environment. It’s the performance of these machines, together with the service and support offered by Currie Group, is the reason we have made this investment.”
