Last Chance to enter the NZ Sign Display Awards Entries close Monday

The NZSDA runs this flagship event for the Industry.  This is a prestigious national event that recognizes and acknowledges outstanding design and craftsmanship across a broad range of sign-making methods and technologies.  Every year it receives hundreds of online entries from all over New Zealand.

To Acknowledge Excellence is the primary purpose of the NZ Sign Display Awards.  This maxim not only constitutes part of the awards programme logo but also provides the standard by which all entries are judged.  This ensures that the overall level of entries is high and that competition for the gold, silver, and bronze medals is fierce.  Sponsored by many of New Zealand’s leading sign and graphics suppliers, the annual awards dinner and prize-giving is held in various locations throughout New Zealand, reinforcing the event’s national status.

The NZ Sign Display Awards will be held at the Due Drop Event Centre, Auckland, at 6pm, Saturday, 8th July 2023.

Tickets are $250+ GST each or table of 10 for $2,400+GST.
This includes beverages, dinner and entertainment for the evening.

Supreme Award
Introduced in 2022 and together with our Diamond Sponsor, Cohesive a new award was handed out at the annual NZ Sign Display Awards. This award replaces the Industry Choice Award is the Top Overall Award chosen by the NZ Sign Display Judges and a panel from the Diamond Sponsor, Cohesive.

Introduced at the 2022 NZ Sign Display Awards and together with key sponsors, Total Supply, PSP Ltd and Roland DG 3 new Notable Awards were handed out, view them below:

• Mana Influencer Award
• Keith Langstone Highflyer Award
• Innovation Champion Award.

The above awards are entered by nomination or entry, depending on the award, and will be awarded to the person/sign business that is most worthy after being considered by the NZSDA Board, the NZ Sign Display Judges, and the Sponsors supporting each award.

The categories for 2023 have changed, to see what the changes are view the highlighted text in yellow in the document below.  A quick reference guide to the changes follows:

+ Wayfinding and Navigation Category has been reinstated

+ Shop Fronts is a NEW Category

+ Traditional Handcrafted Signs and Murals & Illustrations have been combined into one category

+ 3D Modelling and Dimensional Signage have been combined into one category

+Illuminated Signs allows for ALL illuminated signage including dimensional.

+Corporate Brand – Interpretation and Delivery criteria has changed.
